UK Store Coupon Policies

I did have a document with all the 'big four's' coupon policy on but I can't find it online so I guess I must have made it, but I can't find it on my computer either! So in the quest to make another, I've been emailing all the stores for their coupon policy if it doesn't seem to be available on their website. I asked them for information on their in store coupon policy. Below are the links and responses so  far. I have put their replies in blue and anything in my own words in black.
I will try to continually update this post so you can bookmark it to use, should you have a problem in store with staff not being fully aware of the stores coupon policy.

Asda has their policy on their website - Asda's coupon policy

Sainsburys also has their policy online - Sainsburys coupon policy

Tesco has information on their website too but you need to look a litter harder to find it within their FAQ's - Tesco's coupon policy

Morrisons replied with - "for us to look into this further for you please can you provide us with the information that you need and we will be more than happy to get it for you." So, I'm waiting for them to get back to me again.

Waitrose - waiting for reply
Aldi - I received this response to my request for their in store coupon policy
"Thank you for contacting Aldi regarding the coupon policy.
I do not have enough information regarding which coupons you are describing and what you would like to know." Ummm, coupons? You know those paper things with bar codes on? My belief is that they accept their own coupons that are printed in newspapers from time to time (the terms and conditions are printed on them). I believe that they don't accept manufacturers coupons.

Lidl said - "I can advise, our stores only accept vouchers issued by Lidl UK and do not accept vouchers issued by a third party. The terms and conditions will be printed on them.

IcelandIceland's coupon policy They also stated "I can confirm that Iceland accepts supplier branded coupons if they are under the value of £3.00. The coupons have to be sent either by Iceland or directly from one of our suppliers to be accepted."

M & S said - "I'm afraid we do not have a standard policy regarding coupons in our stores. We generally accept all vouchers which are from M&S and some which are for branded products we sell. We ask members of staff to trust the till when scanning vouchers as our tills will accept or not accept the vouchers. However, the terms and conditions of these vouchers still apply and they can only be redeemed during the period of validity."

Pets at Home stated - "The policies are on the back of the vouchers." So again no info on manufacturer coupons.

Boots - waiting for reply

Superdrug's response - "Our stores are not obligated to accept coupons in store and therefore we leave the acceptance of such vouchers down to the discretion of the Store Managers who will make an informed decision on whether the voucher can be accepted in their store or not." My local store is not very coupon friendly unfortunately, I hope you have better luck in your locals!

Poundland stated - "Unfortunately; all vouchers issued by manufacturers are only valid with participating retailers and this will be explained in their terms and conditions.
At present; Poundland are not a participating retailer and currently do not accept any money off coupons or vouchers." I'm assuming they accept their own vouchers though, but I could be wrong!
Holland & Barrett replied with just the t & c of their loyalty card, so I still don't know their take on manufacturers coupons.

It's interesting that I asked them all the same question and some replied straight away with really good information, while some seemed to pretend they didn't know what I was talking about! This is the 26th day since my initial contact so I will update if/when I receive more replies.

If you think of any other shops you'd like me to add just leave a comment below. Please also let me know if you'd like a downloadable/printable document with the main supermarkets on and I'll start putting one together.

Thanks for reading!
